The theme of the competition lesson:   “ My Kazakhstan “

The aims of the lesson:

  1. a) to enrich students knowledge about languages, countries
  2. b) to develop communicative skills and abilities
  3. c) to bring up the feeling of respect to traditions of other countries

 

                     Procedure of the lesson.    

  1. Organization moment
  • ведущий: Good morning, pupils and teachers, guests!. I congratulate you with Day of  Independence . Welcome to our competition lesson! We are glad to see you!   We hope that you’ll enjoy today game.
  • Ведущий: Здравствуйте уважаемые  гости ! Разрешите поздравить вас с предстоящим праздником Днем Независимости!

    1  — ведущий:   Today we have an unusual lesson. We shall have a competition. Two teams will take part in our competition. At the lesson you will answer the questions. I hope the lesson will be interesting for you and you will enjoy it.

2 – ведущий:  Добро пожаловать на конкурс посвященный этому празднику, надеемся вам понравится.  Желаем вам хорошо провести время!

1- ведущий:    Let me introduce our teams and our jury.

There are two teams here today. They are students of 9th and 10th  form.

2 — ведущий:    Участники нашего конкурса делятся на две команды. Участниками наших команд являются ученики 9-10 классов

 

1- задание:   Знакомство. Ученики  должны назвать свои имена на русском и на английском языках.

 

2 задание:     «Полиглот».
1- ведущий:    Дать перевод того слова ,   которое попадётся по жреби

The Republic of Kazakhstan is situated in the central part of the Euro- Asian continent. The area is 2753000 square kilometers. Its territory stretches from West to East for 3000 km and from North to South for 1600 km.  In the West, Northwest and North Kazakhstan borders on the Russian Federation. In the South and Southwest are the Republics of Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan. In the Southeast and East, there is China.

Kazakhstan consists of 14 regions, 223 districts. There are 83 cities and 204 townships. The main cities are Astana, Aktobe, Atyrau, Taraz, Pavlodar, Karagandy and Kostanai.

The population of Kazakhstan is 15 million people. People of 120 nationalities live in the country.  Kazakh is the state language but Russian is officially used on an equal basis with Kazakh.

Казахстан находится в Центральной Азии, в глубине Евразийского материка.  Территория — 2.717.300 кв.км. Территория Казахстана больше, чем 12 стран Европейского Союза.

Казахстан граничит: с КНР , с Кыргызстаном , с Туркменистаном , с Узбекистаном , с Российской Федерацией и Китаем . Общая протяженность границ — 12187 км.      Население — 15,672 млн.

В Казахстане — 14 областей , 84 города, из них 40 — республиканского и областного подчинения, 160 районов, 10 районов в городах, 195 поселков, 2150 аульных (сельских) округов.

Государственный язык — казахский, в государственных организациях и органах местного самоуправления наравне с казахским официально употребляется русский язык.

Денежная единица – тенге,  введена 15 ноября 1993 года.

2- Ведущий:    Отгадай загадку . Ответы должны  прозвучать на 3-х языках.

The 3rd  level is guess the riddles.

Three members from each team go to the blackboard and choose the envelops with riddles. Riddles are in three languages. Guess the riddle and name the answer in three languages.

  1. 1 — тақия толған сөк, таң атқанда жоқ. (жұлдыздар — звезды — stars)
  2. 2 – айдалада ақ отау, аузы мұрны жоқ отау. (жұмыртқа — яйцо — an egg)
  3. 3 – аласа ғана бойы бар, тоғыз қабат тоны бар. (пияз — лук — an onion)
  4. 1 — везет, а не лошадь, летит, а не птица, жужжит, а не пчела.(ұшақ — самолет — a plane)
  5. 2 — упадет — поскачет, ударишь — не плачет (доп — мяч — a ball)
  6. 3 — не куст, а с листочками, не рубашка, а сшита, не человек а рассказывает (кітап — книга — a book)
  7. 1 — It is vegetable. It has many eyes, (ақ түйнек — картошка — a potato)
  8. 2 — it is white and deliсious. (қант — сахар — sugar)
  9. 3 — a little old woman has twelve children (жыл — год — year)

  1. Pupil 1: National Emblem of the Republic of Kazakhstan is a picture of a shanyrak ( the cupola of a yurta) on a blue background, from which uyks (body bracket) like sun rays are being radiated in framing of wings of mythical horses. At the bottom of the emblem there is an inscription Kazakhstan. In colour picture the National Emblem of the Republic of Kazakhstan are of two colours: golden and blue — and — sky — blue. The shanyrak symbolizes well — being of family, peace and calmness. The authors of the emblem are Jandarbek Malibekov and Shota Valihanov.

 

Государственный герб Республики Казахстан представляет собой изображение шанырака (верхняя сводчатая часть юрты) на голубом фоне, от которого во все стороны в виде солнечных лучей расходятся уыки (опоры) в обрамлении крыльев мифических коней. В нижней части герба — надпись «Казакстан». В цветном изображении Государственный герб Республики Казахстан — двух цветов: золотого и сине-голубого.

 

 

  1. Pupil 2: The national flag of the Republic of Kazakhstan is a piece of right angled cloth of a sky blue colour with a picture of a golden sun with 32 rays in the center, sitting above a soaring steppe eagle. The flagstaff has a vertical line of a national ornamentation. The picture of the sun, its rays, eagle and ornament are gold in colour. The author of the flag is an artist Shaken Niyazbekov.

 

Государственный флаг Республики Казахстан представляет собой прямоугольное полотнище голубого цвета с изображением в его центре солнца с 32-мя лучами, под которым — парящий степной орел. У древка — вертикальная полоса с национальным орнаментом. Изображения солнца, лучей, орла и орнамента — цвета золота. Отношение ширины флага к его длине: 1:2
