Buckingham palace is one of the most famous buildings in the world. Thousands of tourists come to see it every year; it is one of the top three tourists attractions in London. England is not as big as Kazakhstan. In 1994 the Palace was opened to the public for the very first time. Of course, not all the Palace is open to the public, but now people can go on a guided tour of parts of the Palace.

Buckingham Palace was built in 1703 in the very centre of London, over looking St.James’s Park. The Palace is one of the four homes of the Royal Family, Queen Elizabeth II and her family. The Royal Family lso have another home just outside London, at Windsor Castle. The weather in England is never very hot or very cold. As well as being a home, it is alsi the place where the Queen meets important visitors such as kings, queens or presidents from other countries.
