Сабақтың мақсаты:

Сабақтың міндеттері: 1) лексика активизациялау: pie, milkshake, ordinary, counter, pay, throw, criticize, waiter, finger; 2) Grammar: Definite, Indefinite Article түсіндіру; 3) мәтінді түсінікпен оқуға үйрету; 4) Британия және Қазақстандағы тамақтану жүйелерін салыстыруға үйрету; 5) диаграмма толтыруды үйрету.

Сабақтың көрнекілігі: диаграммалар “Eating in Britain”, “FFR”,карточкалар.

 

Сабақтың барысы:

  1. Organization. Dear boys and girls! I’m glad to see you, sit down please. Today we work in groups: “Fruit”, “Vegetables”, “Tableware”. (Revision of the previous lexis) Each student becomes cards with words about “Fruit”, “Vegetables”, “Tableware” and must sit at suitable table. 2. Warm-up. Song “Bingo”.                                                                                                3. Checking up home task. Let’s check up your home task:                                                                                                       A) Exercise 18 at page 70. You must  fill the diagram:

 

  1. B) Speak in groups.

1 –st group speak about “Eating in Britain’.

2 – nd  group speak about “Both countries’.

3 – rd  group speak about “Eating in Kazakhstan”.

 

4.Grammar. Definite and indefinite article. Look at the blackboard and compare. Pay attention to the meaning of articles.

  1. 5. Practice. Exercise 11 at page 74. Put a, an or the.
  2. Pre-reading. Look at the pictures. Where can you see these?
  3. Listening. Listen to the text from exercise 12 at page 74.
  4. Work at vocabulary. Write the words pie, milkshake, ordinary, counter, pay, throw, criticize, waiter, finger. Pronunciation.
  5. Reading. Read the text “Fast food restaurants”.
  6. Comprehension check.
  7. a) Find the sentences describing the following.
  8. b) Exercise 13. Answer the questions about FFR.
  9. c) Exercise 15. Are the sentences about Fast Food Restaurants (F) or ordinary (O).

Work in groups: the first group: the first 3 sentences,  the 2–nd  group: the next 3 sentences,   the 3–rd  group: the last 3 sentences.

 

  1. Complete the map about FFR.

 

Work in groups: the 1-st  group complete and speak about  “Menu”,  the 2-nd  group: “They are popular”,   the 3-rd  group about “Weak points”.

 

  1. Conclusion stage. What do you know about FFR, articles?

Evaluation. Home task: Exercise 10,14,16 at page 76.
