Цель урока: Совершенствование речевых навыков по теме «Friends and friendship»

Воспитательный компонент цели: воспитание потребности в практическом использовании языка, воспитание культуры общения.

Развивающий компонент: развитие языковых, интеллектуальных, познавательных способностей, ценностных ориентации (учение самооценке), чувств, эмоций школьников.

Учебно-организационные навыки: формирование у школьников способности работать в различных режимах: учитель-ученик, ученик-ученик, ученик-класс.

Учебно-интеллектуальные: обрабатывать и дифференцировать языковые единицы, пользоваться опорами, ориентирами, облегчающими запоминание языковых фактов.

Учебно-коммуникативные: умение слушать партнера, обоснование своей точки зрения.

Образовательный компонент: расширение эрудиции учащихся, их лингвистического кругозора.

Практический компонент цели: формирование лингвострановедческой языковой компетенции учащихся.


  1. Greeting. Warm-up.

— Good morning dear guests and children! Welcome to our lesson! Sit down, please. How are you today? Are you in a good mood? Is your mood better if your friends with you? Why? Why do people have friends? And the theme of our lesson is «Friends and friendship»

— (Aims) Today we’ll speak about friends, classmates and friendship, about qualities of friends. At the end of the lesson we’ll discuss what friend can be called an ideal friend.

— Our lesson is unusual today and I asked you to divide into groups. Name your groups, please.

Procedure of the lesson:

  1. Checking-up of the home task.

— I know you all have a riddle about your friend and now we can try to guess it.  a) Riddles (description of the person)

—  Now we have an English-Kazakh test. Write these words correctly!

  1. b) Vocabulary (work with the words of the last lesson)
  2. Presentation of the new material. Talk about Friendship

—  What does the word FRIEND mean? Let`s look up in Macmillan Dictionary to get the explanation.

— There are many proverbs about friends and friendship.

  1. Practice.
  2. a) Speaking

— Now you can share your opinions. What do you think about friendship and your friends?

-How do we choose a friend? These words will help you explain what traits of character are valuable for us.


Attentive, supportive, loyal, understanding, helpful, easy-going, reliable, responsible, generous, a good listener, share things, give advice, lend smth.


-Put the phrases in order of importance and explain your choice.


-We can keep these ideas shortly using the following statements.

A friend is a person who worries and cares about you

A friend is a person who keeps your secrets

A friend is a person who doesn`t ignore your problems

A fiend is a person who has similar interests with you

What do you talk with your friends about?

Are you a real friend?


-Some advice for you to be a good friend.

Honesty is the best policy.

Give more than you take.

Be supportive.


Keep the faith.

Express yourself clearly.

Have fun.

-Match the two halves of the proverbs and try to translate them into Kazakh
