Greeting.        – Good afternoon!

Welcome to the lesson of the English language.

  1. Brainstorming:

       -Let’s talk about what things make a country. A map is a visual representation of an area . We have seen the map which shows the territory of the country, now let’s talk about other things:

  1. a)    In Kazakhstan it is ______ .

In the UK it is __________ .

and what are we talking about? You can see in the picture.

  • What are they? Yes, capital cities.
  1. b) In Kazakhstan we speak ______. (Kazakh)

In GB we speak _______. (English)   so compare your answers.

What are they?  Yes, they are languages!

We should speak Kazakh in Kazakhstan.

We should speak English in Great Britain.

  1. c) So, previously we talked about capital cities, now languages, what is the next?

In Kazakhstan it is over  17 mln.

In GB it is over 63 mln.        p_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _.

Political systems.

In red there are words which are scrambled and in blue the words are given. Your task is unscrambled words in red.

Of course we speak about language, territory, language, population, symbols, political system. These things indicate the country. Try this remember!
